• research in the field of nonlinear frictional and structural dynamics using data-driven machine learning methods (ML)
• method development for new learning procedures and sensor data fusion for spatially resolved field and image variables
• implementation of scientific programme code with high quality standards
• publication of scientific results in international journals and at scientific conferences
• cooperation with French project partner
• supervision of student theses
• science communication for non-university target groups

• a successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Engineering Sciences, applied mathematics or machine learning
• core engineering skills
• proven programming experience
• good English language skills; willingness to learn English is expected

desirable:

• scientific publishing
• curiosity, ability to work independently, communication skills, ability to work in a team, intercultural competences
• good command of German and/or French language
