part-time employment may be possible
Tasks
- research in the field of nonlinear frictional and structural dynamics using data-driven machine learning methods (ML)
- method development for new learning procedures and sensor data fusion for spatially resolved field and image variables
- implementation of scientific programme code with high quality standards
- publication of scientific results in international journals and at scientific conferences
- cooperation with French project partner
- supervision of student theses
- science communication for non-university target groups
Requirements
- a successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Engineering Sciences, applied mathematics or machine learning
- core engineering skills
- proven programming experience
- good English language skills; willingness to learn English is expected
desirable:
- scientific publishing
- curiosity, ability to work independently, communication skills, ability to work in a team, intercultural competences
- good command of German and/or French language
