The Group Ion Induced Nanostructures is looking for a Postdoc (f/m/d) Donor-spin-qubits in silicon.
Postdoc (f/m/d) Donor-spin-qubits in silicon
Tasks
- Atomic modification of silicon for quantum applications, including Isotope enrichment of silicon 28 using ion beams, Single ion implantation of donor atoms and strain engineering in silicon
- Operating focused ion beam and scanning electron microscopes
- Perform sample characterisation or organise it through 3rd parties by means of electron, ion, photon or scanning tip based methods
- Evaluation, interpretation and publication of scientific data
- Cooperation with partners in Germany and in other European countries
- Presentation of the research results on national and international meetings
- Co-supervision of PhD students working on sub-projects
Requirements
- Completed PhD in the field of Physics, Material Science, Natural Science or comparable
- Experiences in one or several of the following areas: Ion beam physics, focused ion beams, semiconductor technology, electron microscopy, vacuum, nanotechnology, quantum computing
- Very good English language skills (spoken and written)
