The Department of Radiobiology is looking for a Postdoc (f/m/d) Bioinformatics Associate/Fellow.

Postdoc (f/m/d) Bioinformatics Associate/Fellow

Tasks

  • Bioinformatic analysis of bulk, single-cell and multi-omics sequencing data sets from different sources (e.g. patients, in vivo, in vitro)
  • Identification of novel cancer targets, biomarkers and key regulators/mechanisms/pathways according to the data set (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, (phospho)proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics) and the scientific question
  • Support for data life cycle management of research data

Requirements

  • Completed PhD in the field of Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biology or Biochemistry or comparable natural sciences
  • Advanced experience in bioinformatics
  • Knowledge in large scale genomics
  • Experience in working with workflow managing systems such as Snakemake or Nextflow, HPC environments as well as knowledge in statistics is highly advantageous
