In your role you will be responsible for leading M&A projects within our team of M&A experts. With focus on driving inorganic growth of all our business segments, you are responsible to analyse, plan and execute selected M&A initiatives for various companies belonging to EEX Group. You will interact with our business leaders worldwide and work closely with the senior management of EEX Group and Deutsche Börse. As an experienced project manager you will collaborate in a team of M&A project managers, connect with the local start-up scene and liaise with our group-wide M&A and venture capital team. Your ideas and expertise will contribute to the successful development of our organisation and our business. • University degree in economics, business, finance or equivalent
• First experience in corporate finance or investment banking, with knowledge of the energy sector as an advantage
• Experienced in leading all M&A processes including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, contract negotiation, management presentations and transaction closing
• Experienced in organizing and leading international M&A projects, including interdisciplinary team work with a proven track record of transactions
• Excellent analytical skills, target-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English, with knowledge of German as an advantage
