Working field:

Research and teaching in the area of Mobile Brain/Body Imaging of spatial cognitive processes and the neural foundation of embodiment, analytical support in different projects of the chair.
TU Berlin provides an excellent and exciting opportunity for researchers in the cognitive neurosciences. The position is well integrated in tge local neuroscience community and profits from tight collaborations with experts from other Berlin Institutions, including the clinic for experimental neurology at Charité.


  • successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Movement Sciences, or comparable program
  • the position requires very good knowledge in the area of cognitive neuroscience as well as proof of experience in Electroencephalography (EEG) and the synchronization of multimodal physiological recordings with motion capture and virtual reality
  • we further expect very good programming skills in MATLAB and R as well as proven knowledge in open data formats (BIDS)
  • preferably, the applicant has expertise in additional programming languages (e.g. Unity, Python) and an interest in spatial cognition and/or embodied cognition as well as open science
  • sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English ist expeceted
  • you should be able to work independently as well as in a dynamic interdisciplinary and international team
