Working field:

  • collaboration in research and teaching in the field of marketing
  • carrying out own research work in the focus area of the marketing chair, in particular Product aesthetics, consumer behaviour and brand management
  • support with the conception and implementation of innovative teaching formats, particularly for the "Innovation Workshop" and "Market Research and Data Analysis" courses
  • supervising students and their theses
  • support in the transfer of research findings into business practice

  • successfully completed academic university degree (diploma, master's degree or equivalent) with a corresponding focus (business studies, economics, psychology or statistics)
  • interest in the investigation of new phenomena, especially on questions of the effect of aesthetic product characteristics on customer preferences and on product and brand success
  • very good German and English skills written and spoken; sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English is expected
  • experience in teaching and interest in didactic methods are an advantage
  • experience in empirical work and good knowledge of econometric or experimental methods are desirable
