Having been committed to sciences and the engineering before the reunification of Germany, TU Dresden now is a multi-discipline university, also offering humanities and social sciences as well as medicine.
Working field:
As outstanding and highly visible scholars working in an AI-related field, the Ada Lovelace Guest Professor will be actively involved in various research and teaching activities. The guest professor will hold a public lecture about the individual field of research, thus initiating dialogue with students and junior academics in AI also by way of a role model.
What we offer:
DURATION AND SCOPE
The Ada Lovelace Professorship will be launched starting September 2022. We are looking forward to your application for a one-time stay with a duration of 6-12 months in 2022 and 2023.
Our Ada Lovelace Visiting Professor receives a basic monthly salary of 5,500 €. The position is expected to be full-time (40 hours per week).
You are welcome to a one-time travel allowance. Furthermore, you are entitled to a family supplement amounting to 250 € per child.
If you wish, a student assistant will be provided for the duration of your stay with half of the regular working hours (19h/week). Please inform us accordingly in your application.
The host faculty or central institution will be supported throughout the professorship with a budget of 500 € per month.
