Working field:

The job holder is responsible for all tasks related to the BMWi/AiF-funded project "Minimizing glycoalkaloid formation in potatos and products therof”. This includes the development, planning and implementation of scientific experiments, their evaluation, the instruction of students, project management including the writing of interim and final reports, project presentations and scientific publications.


  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in food chemistry, food technology, or a comparable subject
  • extensive laboratory experience in the analysis of food chemistry (secondary plant metabolites)
  • very good Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • experience in writing scientific publications
  • good command of German and/or English required; willingness to learn either English or German is expected

Desirable qualification:
  • knowledge in project management
  • experience in guiding students
  • very good organizational and communication skills
