Collaboration in research at the Collaborative Research Center SFB/TRR 195 "Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and their Application" in the field of polyhedral geometry with references to representation theory and tropical combinatorics (project A24).

Prerequisite is a successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics as well as a doctorate in mathematics. Proof of completion of a relevant doctorate (PhD) must be provided by the time of recruitment at the latest. Knowledge in the field of algebraic and geometric combinatorics as well as representation theory is expected.
Good knowledge of German and/or English is required, the willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.

Desirable:
The ability to work in a team and programmlng experience are an advantage.
