Scientist for the development of process-oriented AI for embedded systems in industrial applications (d/f/m)

“Impossible” does not exist for you? Are you fascinated by AI and want to work with us to get it running on small embedded systems and make completely new AI applications possible? Then join our embedded AI team in the System Design department. Develop new process-related solutions with us to bring AI to machinery and derive decisions directly in the production process. Work with us on data acquisition and pre-processing, adaptive AI and the optimisation of AI implementations for resource-constrained systems.

Working field:

— You will use and refine methods for merging heterogeneous data from different sources.
— You will analyse and evaluate collected or merged data and visualise it in a suitable form.
— You will design and implement digital representations.
— You will further develop innovative embedded systems.
— You will work with clients to agree specifications and functionalities.
— You will develop customised solutions.
— In our team, you will be involved in answering relevant research questions.
— You will publish research results at scientific conferences and in journals.


— Degree with a focus on data analysis in the field of computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
— In-depth knowledge in the field of IoT and environmental monitoring
— Experience in the development of embedded systems
— Proactive, self-organised, structured and solution-oriented way of working, high quality awareness as well as teamwork and cooperation skills
— Good language skills in German and English
— Flexibility and resilience
— In-depth knowledge in the field of signal processing
— Very good knowledge of a higher programming language (C/C++)
