Scientist in IoT development for smart farming (d/f/m)

Would you like to work on innovative solutions that help make the world a better place? Work with us on IoT systems, e.g. to make smart use of scarce water resources in agriculture, and join our IoT team in our System Design department. Develop intelligent, networked embedded systems with us for various applications ranging from smart cities to environmental monitoring. Dive into the details of the sensor technology itself and keep an eye on the overall solution for customer issues.

Working field:

— You will use and refine methods for merging heterogeneous data from different sources.
— You will analyse and evaluate collected or merged data and visualise it in a suitable form.
— You will design and implement digital representations.
— You will further develop innovative embedded systems.
— You will work with clients to agree specifications and functionalities.
— You will develop customised solutions.
— In our team, you will be involved in answering relevant research questions.
— You will publish research results at scientific conferences and in journals.


— Degree with a focus on data analysis in the field of computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
— In-depth knowledge in the field of IoT and environmental monitoring
— Experience in the development of embedded systems
— Proactive, self-organised, structured and solution-oriented way of working, high quality awareness as well as teamwork and cooperation skills
— Good language skills in German and English
— Flexibility and resilience
— In-depth knowledge in the field of signal processing
— Very good knowledge of a higher programming language (C/C++)
